Strategic Video Workbook a hit at MM&C

It's amazing to think that every association executive that we talk with absolutely gets the fact that they need to step up their video content. Where most get stuck is figuring out where to start. Well, I think we have nicely solved that problem with an easy to follow workbook.

Every association department needs to use more video to move their respective needles in the right direction.  The key is to work in harmony with the other departments to identify video opportunities, ensure they align with association objectives and then to create an efficient production plan to populate a content calendar.

This is easier said than done.

Association TV® suggests that each and every video opportunity considered be looked at through a lens that identifies if the video will engage members, align with association objectives, and can be considered a revenue generator.

 Strategy Baloons

This is great as a broad starting point, but how does an association really plan and build out a whole year's video content, complete with anticipated revenue projections?

Enter the Association TV® Strategic Video Workbook.  This tool was introduced in an education session that President Dan Stevens hosted at ASAE's MM&C conference in DC last week. The workbook walks an association through an easy to follow format to identify different types of video opportunities, how they will engage members and what are the projected revenues. As a BONUS, the workbook will also help you to create a content calendar that you can use to ensure your content is distributed equally and effectively throughout the year.

The entire workbook process takes less than an hour to do, and really gives an association a solid understanding of the "how" to up their video content.
